Studio Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 11, 2026
Overview
Studio is a native Mac creative production workspace by Mountain Meadow Systems. This policy explains how Studio and the Mountain Meadow Systems website handle information for Studio users and reviewers.
Local Project Storage
Studio stores projects locally in user-selected .studio packages. Those packages can contain project metadata, imported media, generated outputs, captions, cache files, exports, logs, prompts, provider job records, and related project state.
Users choose what files to open, import, and export. Users can delete local .studio projects from their Mac.
Provider Credentials
Studio's initial model is bring-your-own-key. Provider API keys are user-provided and intended to be stored in the macOS Keychain. Mountain Meadow Systems does not sell AI credits as part of the initial BYOK model and does not receive provider API keys through this website.
Users choose whether to configure provider credentials. Users can delete provider keys from Studio settings or Keychain when supported by the app.
AI Generation And Third-Party Providers
When users start AI generation, prompts, selected settings, and selected project assets or references may be sent to the chosen third-party provider, such as OpenRouter, OpenAI, or ElevenLabs, depending on the selected feature and provider.
Mountain Meadow Systems does not control the privacy, security, or retention practices of third-party AI providers. Users should review the policies for the provider they choose before sending prompts, settings, files, or references to that provider.
Support Email
If users email support, Mountain Meadow Systems receives whatever information they choose to send, such as their email address, message, Studio version or TestFlight build, macOS version, screenshots, logs, project details, or other attachments.
For support or privacy questions, email patrick@mountainmeadowsystems.com.
Website Logs And Tracking
The Mountain Meadow Systems website may receive ordinary hosting logs from the hosting provider, such as request time, requested URL, browser user agent, IP address, and similar operational data.
Studio does not use advertising tracking. Diagnostics and crash-reporting disclosures will be reflected in the App Store privacy details for the version submitted.
